Congo surveys 239 drug users in three cities

Researchers surveyed 239 people encountered through police, customs, prisons and psychiatric services in Brazzaville, Dolisie and Ouesso. The government later cited the 2004 survey while describing cannabis, cocaine and heroin as the main drugs accessible in the country. It used this evidence to discuss gaps in prevention, treatment and support for vulnerable children and former combatants.[1]
