Cameroon creates a narcotics subdirectorate in the judicial police

Cameroon created a narcotics subdirectorate in 2002 inside the judicial police branch, tasked exclusively with drug trafficking and related offences such as money laundering, incitement and facilitating illicit financial operations. The police presentation of 2017 lists it as the structural arm of cannabis enforcement, alongside regional production maps, airport cells and drug-dog brigades added later.[1]
