Bolivia carries the 1925 Opium Convention over to the United Nations

Bolivia became a party on 14 December 1946 to the Protocol of 11 December 1946, which transferred to the United Nations the League of Nations' functions under the earlier drug treaties. It thereby remained bound by the International Opium Convention signed at Geneva in 1925, the first treaty to put Indian hemp under international control.[1]
