Between September and October 2025 the LDEA arrested 178 suspected traffickers and dealers across all 15 counties, seizing narcotics valued at over L$40 million, with the suspects forwarded to court.[@analyst25] NoFor July 2025 to June 2026 the agency reported 1,831 suspected drug offenders arrested nationwide and, for January to June 2026, convictions of eight traffickers with prison sentences of one to ten years.[@newdawn26] Both counts cover all drugs, and no account of routine user-level arrests was found.
