No cannabis clubs are known, and the law leaves no room for them: cultivation is a production offence and giving cannabis to another person is a specific supply offence.[@cidj]

context › planting › text

Zamal is planted in cane fields and gardens, all of it outside any legal regime.[@benoist] A widespread belief that one or two plants for personal use are legal is false: growing is a production offence whatever the number of plants.[@ofdt21,cidj] Seed commerce is not separately addressed in the reviewed sources.

context › black market › text

Trafficking runs on small networks built on mutual acquaintance, with local production and no transformation into resin — resin arrives imported, by post or by mules.[@ofdt21] Local zamal quality has declined over the last decade while its price rose from about €0.50 to €5 a gram; imported hybrids fill the gap.[@ofdt21]

+- Word Zamal (Réunion Creole, via Benoist); culture already linked both atlas entries.
+- Cultivation rewritten with real numbers from CIDJ (production offence: 20 yrs + €7.5M; courts lower for small grows) + table; possession term added.
+- Products folded into hemp then deleted; new clubs/planting (grey seeds, false 1–2-plant belief via OFDT)/black_market (OFDT 2021, fetched and read: small acquaintance networks, local production without resin transformation, €0.50→€5/g decline, imported hybrids) sections.
+- New `articles/reunion-youth-zamal-groups-1971.md` (rewrote invented closing to the entry's real psychiatric-hospital cases + alcohol contrast) + `articles/reunion-malay-amale-crime-1830.md` (both from Benoist).
