A television documentary makes a child's epilepsy the face of medical cannabis

CNN broadcast Weed, presented by Sanjay Gupta, which featured Charlotte Figi, a five-year- old with Dravet syndrome whose parents and doctors said her seizures fell sharply after she was given medical marijuana from a strain high in CBD that does not produce a high. The strain, bred by the Stanley brothers, was named Charlotte's Web after her, and she was described as the girl changing medical marijuana laws across America.[1]
