The consultation on the National Council health committee's draft Cannabis Products Act ran from 29 August to 1 December 2025 and drew 162 responses. Fifteen cantons rejected or leaned against the draft and ten approved or leaned towards it; of the parties in parliament four were for and four against. Addiction, business and civil-society organisations mostly welcomed it. The results report was published in April 2026.[1]
