Debate 🇸🇪 Sweden

Sweden's parliament restates the goal of a drug-free society

Parliament approved the drug-policy goals in the national action plan for 2002–2005. The government allocated SEK 325 million for 2002–2004 and had already commissioned a national drugs coordinator on 17 January 2002 to implement, monitor and coordinate the plan. The programme pursued reduced drug supply and demand within the existing prohibition framework. These were policy goals and funding decisions, not proof of a decline in cannabis use.[1][2][3]
