Other law 🇸🇲 San Marino

San Marino replaces its 1956 and 1988 drug laws

Law No. 139, passed on 26 November 1997, supplements the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure for narcotics, alcohol and psychotropic substances, repealing the 1956 law and the 1988 additions outright.[1] The cannabis core stays: unauthorised production, introduction, holding for trade or supply bring second-degree imprisonment, as do simple possession and abuse, while minor-quantity personal use can drop a degree and treatment probation is available.[1] Personal use is not punished when prescribed for health reasons or recognised as effective by the Social Security Institute, and the law lists marijuana, hashish, THC, hashish oil and sinsemilla as the cannabis group.[1]
