Tightening 🇳🇴 Norway

Norway raises the maximum for serious drug offences to fifteen years

The upper sentence under Penal Code section 162 for serious narcotics offences rose to fifteen years. This was part of the escalation in penalties for serious drug crime, including cannabis trafficking, between the ten-year maximum adopted in 1972 and the twenty-one-year maximum introduced in 1984. It was not the sentence for possession of a small amount for personal use.[1]
