Easing 🇳🇴 Norway

Norway's parliament passes a drug reform that is not yet in force

The Storting adopted the government's reform. Use and possession of small amounts stay forbidden, but the fine will no longer go on a person's criminal record, people with dependency are to get help in place of punishment, and under-18s must attend a municipal advisory meeting. As of August 2026 no date had been set for it to take effect, so the old rules still applied.[1]

Listed for context. No score change is recorded for Norway here.
