Nevada's board approves consumption-lounge regulations

Assembly Bill 341 of 2021 authorised the Cannabis Compliance Board to license and regulate cannabis consumption lounges. On 28 June 2022 the board approved the regulations and expected the first application round in the autumn. A retail lounge must be attached or immediately next to an adult-use shop. An independent lounge is separate from one. A 2017 bill to license lounges had missed its deadline, and a counsel opinion that year was not a licensing statute.[1][2][3]
