Chuuk police records begin documenting cannabis on Moen

A later exploratory field study reports that the first marijuana case in the police records it reviewed occurred on Moen late in 1978, when one plant was uprooted. This identifies an early recorded local case, not Micronesia’s first cannabis prohibition or a national arrest total.[1]
