Malta limits cannabis stocks held by licensed associations

Licensed associations received category-based limits on cannabis held at distribution sites, from 350 g to 3.5 kg. Cultivation-site stocks were capped at eight months’ supply calculated using the permit category’s maximum membership, with excess material to be destroyed. Transport required prior written authorisation, and breaches could lead to criminal fines or an administrative alternative.[1]
