Debate 🇱🇹 Lithuania

Lithuania's parliament votes for fines but keeps the crime

The Seimas approved by 63 votes to 60 an amendment making possession of a small amount of cannabis an administrative offence, with a warning or a fine of 50 to 300 euros. In the same sitting it failed to remove the offence from the Criminal Code and sent that draft back to committee, so possession stayed a crime.[1]
