Law X-711, adopted on 22 June and published on 14 July, rewrote Criminal Code Article 265. It raised the maximum prison term for growing a large quantity of cannabis, poppies or other listed plants contrary to the prescribed rules from two to five years, while retaining community service, a fine, restriction of liberty and arrest as alternatives. It also added liability for legal entities. This entry uses the verified publication date; the amendment was not the original prohibition of cannabis growing.[1][2][3]
