Tightening 🇯🇴 Jordan

Jordan adds storage, cultivation and heavier personal-use penalties to its drug law

Law No. 87 of 2003 amended the 1988 drug law: it added storage to the trafficking and personal-use offences, raised the personal-use penalty to one to two years and a JOD1,000–3,000 fine, and added cultivation and purchase for personal use. It also required customs approval for precursors and raised several prescription and record penalties. The act is titled for 2002 but numbered and published in 2003, and the exact gazette day was not settled in the sources read.[1]
