Debate 🇯🇪 Jersey

Jersey backs medical cannabis prescribing beyond hospital consultants

The States Assembly backed the principle that medical professionals who already had prescribing rights should be able to prescribe medicinal cannabis. The subsequent ministerial decision records that this departed from advisory recommendations to limit the new route to hospital consultants. The vote was a policy decision; the implementing Order followed in December and commenced in January 2019.[1]
