Gibraltar’s new drug law took effect on 1 June 1973, providing separate offences for unauthorised possession, possession with intent to supply, production and cannabis cultivation.[1] Its later amendments extended the supply wording to recipients abroad and introduced a quantity-based presumption of intent to supply.[1][2][3] The Act remained the main drug statute until the Crimes Act replaced it in November 2012.[1][4]
