Tightening 🇩🇰 Denmark

Denmark introduces a six-year maximum for serious drug supply

Law No. 276 of 18 June 1969 inserted Penal Code section 191, providing up to six years' imprisonment for unlawful drug transfer to many people, for substantial payment or in other particularly aggravating circumstances. Related conduct, including possession, required intent to transfer on those terms. Committee guidance reserved its cannabis application for serious commercial activity; this was not a six-year maximum for every personal-possession case. A later government bill expressly confirms commencement on 1 July 1969.[1][2][3]
