context › recreational › text

There is no legal recreational supply. Possessing or using a small amount — up to 6 grams of total THC — is a crime with up to two years, avoidable only by admitting it, completing six months of treatment and identifying the seller, a route closed after two uses.[@btk461,btk] Consumption itself is criminal, and the 2025 package forces users into an informer role.[@cms,boc] Growing brings two to eight years, or up to two where the amount is small.[@btk]
