Niger adopts national rules on narcotic sales, possession and use

A national ordinance placed the import, export, purchase, sale, possession and use of poisonous substances and narcotics under rules to be set by decree. It was issued under the Supreme Military Council and was followed by implementing schedules in 1977. The 1999 drug ordinance later expressly repealed both texts.[1][2]
