Mauritius passes a Dangerous Drugs Ordinance

Ordinance No. 5 of 1934, the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, was the colony's narcotics law until 1950, supplemented by the Dangerous Drugs (Control of Stocks) Ordinance of 1938 and an amending ordinance of 1946. All three were repealed by section 47 of the 1950 Ordinance, which is how they are known here; the United Nations filing does not reproduce their text, so their treatment of gandia is not confirmed.[1]
